My Fav Purchases of 2022
As the title says, here are some of my favorite 2022 purchases that are absolutely worth the hype and the money. What better way to start the new year than by treating yourself, right? Listed below are 10 items vital to my survival and by the end of this post, I hope I have influenced you to try at least one:) I hope you enjoy and Happy New Year!

1. Stanley Tumbler Cup
As a former Hydroflask user, this cup has changed the game. At first I was not totally on board and it did not seem like something I needed. Then one of my roommates got one and shortly after so did I. I have the 40 oz size and while it is a bit heavy when completely full, it also doubles as a weapon if need be. You could do some real damage with this thing. The handle is sturdy, comfy and makes this the perfect Emotional Support Water Bottle. It also fits in my car cupholder which feels like a luxury compared to my Hydroflask aimlessly rolling around on my car floor. I am also so hydrated throughout the day which I feel like is an obvious perk but getting a new water bottle makes me want to drink more water (hope this is a universal experience) especially with a straw. If your New Year’s Resolution is to drink more water then you NEED a Stanley.
2. Anything From Aritzia
If you know me, then you are familiar with my Aritzia obsession. I first started shopping at Aritzia in hopes of finding high quality basics to elevate my style that would last me a long time. Let’s just say my fashion needs were met and then some. From TNA sweat sets to the Babaton tanks everything is good. I love that all of their pieces serve as staples in my closet and are all multifunctional. I can dress each piece up or down for any occasion and feel confident and sophisticated while doing so. If I haven’t convinced you already, just walk into any Aritzia store; they will take care of the rest:)
I have to be honest, I was not on board with the Ugg boot trend resurfacing…at first. I did not buy into the fad because I just thought it would come and go like it did last year but boy did it stick around. I caved and got the Classic Mini II Boots and I am obsessed. They keep my feet quite warm amidst the frigid icy San Diego weather. If you invest, I would recommend getting the weather proofing spray to prolong their lifespan since they are not water proof. These shoes also look so cute with crew socks or as I have recently added to my closet, leg warmers.
I hope that out of the 10 items listed, this is the product you try. These Nerd Gummy Clusters are revolutionary. Nothing compares to this crunchy yet chewy sugary delicacy. I have always been a chocolatey dessert kind of girl but these are the exception. They are dangerously bite-sized. I could eat an entire bag in one day, easy. The re-sealable packaging is also a plus and the share-ability is off the charts. Both the Rainbow and Very Berry flavor have my sweet tooth’s stamp of approval.
I did not know I needed this ice pack until my mom sent me back to college with it. This ice pack has been through it: flu season, many tension headaches, cooling me down when our AC broke, etc. Not only does it stay very cold it’s soft and the slight compression is so comforting. I normally wear it so the ice pack rests on my forehead but you can have it cover your eyes (pictured to the right) or position it on the back of your neck, etc. This ice pack is also great for relaxing, reducing skin redness and it’s pink! But, it also comes in black if that is more your vibe.
I have been wearing these shoes since last January and loved them so much I bought a second pair to replace the first. The platform is super comfortable and of course gives you a little added height:) I own the black and white ones but they have so many other color options/styles. The first pair lasted a long time considering that I wore them almost everyday. They are a great everyday shoe, the leather is easy to clean, and they withstand my 8 hour barista shifts like a charm. This year I will definitely be purchasing my third pair.
7. Free People Bel Aire Square Sunglasses
These are the perfect sunglasses. Hands down. I own two pairs (tortoise shell and black) and wear them every single day. They are also available in a ton of other colors. I love the shape of the frames, the quality is great, and they are only $25! Whenever I wear these I feel like a model off duty; full on incognito mode activated:) They are perfect for a beach day, hot girl walk, and everyday wear. Absolutely Olivia approved.
8. Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag
Everyone and their mother seems to own a Lulu belt bag; for very good reason. This bag is the perfect size for all of your daily essentials for fun adventures, everyday activities and more. This bag has easily replaced my purses and totes. I love to wear it across my chest for accessibility on the go but you can also wear it around your waist. I own the lavender one pictured left and black which is my go-to. Activewear is a big part of my style and a belt bag is the perfect accessory! 9. Gorjana Jewelry
This year I was on the hunt for affordable yet high quality gold jewelry to replace cheap and tarnished pieces that I just wasn’t in love with. That is when I discovered Gorjana. Their pieces are gold-plated and if they tarnish, you can bring them in store to swap them out! You are basically buying a lifetime warranty on each piece you buy! I have tried their rings, bracelets, necklaces and more which have become my everyday favorites. The Wilder Alphabet Bracelet makes the perfect gift (my sister and I have matching) and all of their gold chains can be customized with charms.
I was first sold on this product simply because of the packaging; come on I am a sucker for pink. But, the quality of the product itself proved it’s spot on this list. If you have thinner fine hair like me then these are perfect for your hair type. Both the shampoo and conditioner smell fresh/slightly floral, lather and rinse so well, and leave my stick straight hair soft and voluminous. They are also SLS, Paraben, and Cruelty free with recycled plastic packaging!
